“This year I met a young graduate of Darul-Uloom Deoband, he is currently a student of Jamia Umm Al-Qura (Makkah Mukarramah) in a certain discipline in Haram (Makkah). We were introduced in front of the Kaaba, incidentally the tutors of Darul-Uloom Deoband were also present who knew both of us, they introduced the two of us and informed me that the young man is a student of Deoband, has graduated recently
and is currently a student of Jamia Umm Al-Qura. I spoke to him and said, “There are many institutions in the world, sharing of knowledge is in abundance, literature is prepared aplenty, Darul-Uloom Deoband’s significance is not that of an institution (only with knowledge) but it’s significance lies in the amalgamation of love and knowledge. One should remember this always, all the progress is good and is congratulatory, excel in knowledge and progress to greater heights however you are associated with Darul-Uloom Deoband. Always remember Darul-Uloom Deoband is not a mere intellectually driven organization but it is an institution where Allah has amalgamated knowledge and love together”“.
P.S. To become a Kaamil Insan knowledge with love is very important because love helps a person to act on knowledge he/she has acquired.
“You will never be pious (a person of taqwa) until you become knowledgeable, and you will never be beautiful with your knowledge until you act (by it)”.
